PMS startup failure

Server Version#: 1.15.3.835
MacOs: 10.14.4

When I try to start Plex server on a clean install, the error reported is Error: Unable to set up server: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed (N4soci10soci_errorE)

searching for this everyone says to re-install, but I’ve tried it multiple times, and I have nothing in /Library/* related to Plex media Server to delete. I’m not sure what PMS is looking at to encounter a database disk image problem, since other than the app itself I have no other files that could be corrupted or repaired. I’m all for uninstall/reinstall but thats not doing it for me.

derp, found it in ~/Library rather than /Library
