My plex server has tried to update a couple of times and afterwards I have restarted everything. I power boosted, cleaned and restarted the app and it wont update. I tried searching for a manual update but could not find one? Right now my Version is 1.2.5.2966 on Windows 10 using it through Roku app. Also for some reason in the past few months it has not optimized anything I have tried or sync? Also problems with a couple of channels that were working fine before this. I appreciate any help.

Hi, here is a link to manually download the server https://www.plex.tv/downloads/, however, your version “1.2.5.2966” is the latest, I also have it running. Does it say there is another update?
I’m guessing I had 2 updates within a few days and was assuming it was the same update. I located my updates folder
[ /AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Updates ] and found them. I did have an issue yesterday with my computer after the update 1.2.4.2949-4e494e4 installed, my computer was beeping loudly and would not do a thing and I had to shut everything down. Still have not figured it all out but I have not had any other problems other then my channels are not working. My webtools now only shows 1 port 33443 and my primewire channel refuses to work. Where is my plexkodi connect updating all those files if the channel is not even discoverable?
Mine will update from files on my laptop but not from my wd cloud any help?

It seems for right now every time I have an update I have to manually install it which I don’t mind doing. I got a little to comfortable with it installing on web and just restarting everything. At least now I know it is finished and then I can restart.
