Hello. I am a complete noob when it comes to networking and server stuff. I built a plex media server a couple years ago and it was up and running brilliantly. I even took a trip to brazil last year and i was able to access my media from there, which was awesome. Recently, though, plex is requiring some sort of update. I went to my server and tried updating the plugin. Didn’t fix the issue. I uninstalled the plug in and reinstalled it. didn’t work. even tried updating it again from there and it still didn’t solve the problem. I found a video on youtube that seemed to walk me through updating the server with the .rar file that you download from Plex. That didn’t solve the problem. As you can see from the picture, this is what i am greeted to when i log into my server on the plex website. I would really like to know what my issue is. Like i said, I have never taken any classes for servers or networking or basic IT skills. All i have learned for computers is from googling things, LTT youtube channel, and random youtube searches.
Thanks for dropping by and reading. Hopefully some one out there will know the fix for my issue. I’m confident of that.
