I share my Plex library with some people. I received an invitation (you know the mail “Someone shared their Plex media with you … click the following link: I accept the invitation.”).
I accepted and this user ended up in both my friends list and in “My Home”. I don’t even know this person and he/she is definitely not part of my family and unwanted in my home…
I’m not sure how this happened. My plex server runs at my home on my own private network.
Did that user end up in your home or did you end up in his? You can only be part of 1 Plex Home. If you accepted an invitation to join another Home, you automatically got removed from your own.
This is possible? I’m not 100% sure but I reckon he was in my home because I deleted him from the ‘My Home’ tab (and also deleted him from my friends list to be sure this wouldn’t happen again)…
I reckon if I was in his home it wouldn’t be possible to delete him from the ‘My Home’ tab? If I was in someone else’s home would it still be called ‘My Home’?
If you join someone else’s home it will still show under “My Home”, because you are now part of that home. Thee won’t be much difference in the appearance for the User tab. Look for the picture of the crown by all the users. The crown will be on the user that is the admin for that Home.
