Shared Plex with my wife years ago. Now, her password escapes us. How do I reset her password?

Using a browser, try to sign in to her account using her e-mail address. There is a link if you forgot the password. You will need access to the associated e-mail account.

  1. https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/
  2. Choose Sign In
  3. Continue with e-mail
  4. Forgot?

If that does not work, contact Plex Billing, link at the bottom of this page (Resources → Billing Questions).

Hmm. Tells me her iPad couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server.

Unsure. I do not have an iPad. No such message when connecting using Chrome on my PC.

Think I fixed it. I defriended her then set her up again which allowed a new password. Not sure why, but all seems to be working at the moment. Thanks!
