Plex shows duplicates of file which have never existed

Hi,

So… i see 4 Tv series witch are listed as containg duplicates (was searching for merged files) all of them shows some mp4 and mkv. (ther never been any mp4 files

Heres one of them:

Theres is only mkv version of file but in plex iit showe that there exists two of them - there is no hidden files and if i cut and move whole folder whole series disappears - when move back both appears again.

You need to avoid running 2 library scans at the same time.
There are:

  • automatic
  • periodic
  • manual
  • once per night during the server maintenance period

Only ever use one of these, to avoid running several scans concurrently.

The only known cure for removing additional identical paths from an item is to perform the Plex Dance.

The first and the 4th check boxes.
As well as “Update all libraries during maintenance” under “Scheduled Tasks”.
