How can I solve this problem? I have some others animes with the same problem.
I’m using just Dororo! as example, I have 21 episodes inside the folder “Season 01” in Dororo!'s folder. But Plex just recognizes 1 episode but shows that have 21 inside the folder.
Name S00E00, Name S0xE0, Name S0 E0
naming convention is important, sub folders are helpful but not necessary.
it needs the show name, season and episode to match to a online DB
also the complete path can sometimes create confusion with matching.
(most likely not the case here)
No there really isn’t, certainly not on iOS or tvOS anyway.
If you personally are having issues then I’m sorry. But please don’t make “blanket” statements.
PS. It wasn’t me who flagged the post so obviously someone else takes issue with unsubstantiated statements.
EDIT
Just plugged my Shield back in, no issues there either.
saying, broken for all apps, then just mentioning 1 small scenario shortly after the release doesn’t help anyone. I feel it may just cause unrelated confusion.
why would I complain ? its actually working as it should for some people.
let me explain that format works for people who keep there library very simple, like this.
+show
----S1
-------\E1
-------\E2
-------\E3
----S2
-------\E1
-------\E2
-------\E3
years ago this was very common, and some people still don’t care about all the details and store things in this fashion. Not to mention having different logic is not a bad thing, and it doesn’t affect anyone in a negative way so why change it.
Keep on doing this and very likely you’ll have to redo all of it at some point in the future.
Deviant namings work for a while, until they don’t anymore.
As your library grows, Plex needs the additional disambiguation provided by the official naming schema.
