You are supposed to place the video files directly into the Season 0x
folders.
Get rid of the superfluous subfolder underneath the Season 0x
folders.

That doesn’t prevent other seasons from not getting recognized.
I keep the naming intact in order to know it’s source and quality upfront.
Curious what the contents of these folders look like. In my case each folder under Season 06 (in my case for other shows) has a folder for each episode labeled with .S06E01. and inside that folder are several files with 1 being the video file with the same .S06E01…mkv (or other video name)
You are missing the required “E” in the naming/ It should be like “S06E01” not “S0601”
Plex is quite good at handling improper naming but just because it works some of the time does not mean it will work all of the time.
Also all the extraneous stuff like 720p and the rest of the naming is just a possible way to confuse Plex and all the periods are not needed.
“Desperate Housewives - S06E01 - optional episode name.mkv” is better, a LOT better, than what you have.
That did it.
Again, folder names like that helps identify it’s codecs, audio/video quality, encoding, Rip source and content source.
