well that apparently is full of sheet since the latest version is still garbage and now the mobile apps want more money. I mean I have a plex pass and holy good god im glad i paid 70 for it years ago cause your product sucks now for 300, and i have to use a 3 year old server to click a movie and a actor and see what he’s been in on my server or it stays blank (STILL SINCE SERVER 1.32.7516. wtf is it with you clowns where you break things, acknowledge they are broke and NEVER FIX THEM but add new garbage and want more money? are you retarded?
I’m just another use who had, what I thought were large libraries and I have a question for you regarding this issue.
I have a question about the limit you state of greater that 50K. Is this an absolute number or appropriate?
For a library like TV, is the 50K limit for Series or Episodes because I have over 120K episodes and noticed issues with searching and finding actors/cast members - it’s very slow compared to what it used to be.

Which is not acceptable to me. especially with whats been going on with the android app (i cant use the new app since I wont update my server since I use the actor credit search)
I was told by support its a large library over 50k items issue that that i wasn;t the only one and they closed the topic and told me to pound sand.,
So until I’m forced to upgrade somehow, I told my users toi back the old android app up and disable auto updates on it.
I dont know how the limits work, its just what I was told,. I’m on a 3 year old server version since they only care about adding new features, jacking the price up and not fixing existing problems.

I too have well over 170K videos in 4 libraries and my search works fine with Windows 11, PMS v1. 41.7.9823 - so I’d like some more details about what exactly they issue is.
You can add another 55K+ files you count music.
“Won’t match credits?” That’s not clear to me. I’ve been a user of Plex since shortly after Windows Media Center was nixed - aka, a very long time Plex user.

I’m also glad i have the android app apk backed up and unsigned so it wont show up on the updates list and that I have the server installer backed up
it is what it is, even the reddit people say plex only wants money now.,

problem was described through link to other thread, it’s toxic cause the devs refuse to fix a 3 year issue. wish you the best of luck too when you have a problem with plex that wont be fixed
Thanks, I’ve discovered and worked through them with Plex engineers, and eventually gathered enough data to have all of them fixed and added to new builds.
It took time and patience, but the engineers/technicians were with me every step of the way. ![]()
[Yes, one bug took 8 months to fix, but it got fixed as soon as we found what caused/triggered the bug]
For me, I think it was communication that was key.
