I am a Lifetime Plex Pass subscriber, I got the campaign email ‘New from Plex: Thousands of free movies, shows, and more’ so I decided to give it a try. It plays ads immediately then hangs for many minutes at the start of the real content no matter what I try to play on my 100Mbps broadband link. After 20 minutes I gave up.

Chrome url provided PLEX on my desktop https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/media/tv.plex.provider.vod?key=%2Fhubs%2Fsections%2Fmovies&pageType=hub&context=content.movies&source=movies
On W10 device If instead of going via my usual plex desktop I enter via https://app.plex.tv it works I haven’t tried Apple TVs or IPads yet. Thank you
I’m in AU and Plex Pass lifetime subscriber.
Just tried it via my web browser (Mac Safari).
Ads play, but movies only play audio only. One movie showed about one second of video, then only audio played.
Updated Plex iOS app and movies played correctly.
Plex Server is running Version 1.18.3.2111.
So just not working via browser. Haven’t tried it on my smart tv’s as yet.
Works for me on Web and Android mobile.
can you confirm the version number of web app you are using
Plex Web Version 4.16.2
Safari version v13.0.3 (just incase).
just tried it on another Mac and it worked.
checked Plex Web Version is now 4.16.3
must’ve ran an update overnight during the nightly scheduled maintenance window
