Has anyone experienced issues with frequent buffering? I’ve tried with various file types (mp4, avi, mkv, mv4) and I have the same results. It can play for anywhere from a minute to 20 minutes and then it pauses and starts to buffer. I’ve been running PlexPy to try and catch it but it reports back that there are no pauses in the stream. PlexPy does show when it’s buffering just doesn’t seem to pick up in the history/logs. What I can tell from these is that it happens on Direct Stream and Direct Play. I haven’t caught it on transcoding.
I’ve tried limiting and expanding my streaming capacity and even tried enabling the recently released Auto Adjust Quality option. None work.
I am using it on the phone app for Android to stream to a chromecast and on Xbox One, the issue is apparent on both devices.
Anyone have any thoughts on what I may be missing?
