Umm… I beg to differ… Unless you can show me otherwise, my invited users were asked to pay for Emby Premier when I tested Emby, and when I asked, I was told: “It’s supposed to be that way”…

Just like my users are offered PlexPass at any available opportunity. There’s a huge difference between that and it being required? Perhaps it was the wording when you asked?

Yes, because different from how Libraries work inside of Plex. That’s not to say that it’s the right way to handle it, it’s to say that this is the way they’ve chosen to handle it, and they could improve it, provided someone makes a feature request, it gets enough votes, and the dev team decides it’s a project they wish to pursue. Until then, you, the OP, and I, all need to work within the confines of the current system.

Already improved on most clients.

Umm, you’re welcome? I wasn’t the one who chose to come into a thread and complain about the platform and bring competing products that I don’t even use into it… I mean come on man, the world is full of opinions, and they don’t all need to mirror yours…

WTF. “Complain about the platform” ? One issue that the OP raised that I actually agree with.
So yeah I really hammered Plex didn’t I.

Edit: Your argument is the equivalent of talking to a Chevy forum saying “Well Ford can get 45 mpg why can’t chevy?” to which I replied “The Ford costs more money and has fewer doors” to which you replied “What does that have to do with anything?”

That’s just the most stupid comparison I have ever seen. They are both similarly priced Media servers. Maybe the Plex Dance isn’t a bug its a feature and adds added value to Plex though.
