Plex sync error

I’m a PlexPass subscriber and a long time fan and user of Plex, but I have to say plex sync is a total disaster. It has never worked reliably and even though it is finally being improved, it still doesn’t work. Right now, if I sync any content to my Android devices, the file is not playable and it just returns a server error, which seems odd considering the whole point of syncing is to have an offline experience.

I know the plex devs are trying to resolve the issues with syncing, but I have to ask if this is ever going to work? If not, you should consider just disabling the function altogether so that we’re not banging our heads against the wall hoping someday it’ll start working.

I’ve been chasing my tail on this for years, taking advice: Get the next version. Roll back one version. Post your logs. Reinstall the application.

I would like for the Plex people to take a position on whether this will ever work or not. Netflix figured it out. Their sync/download works beautifully across all platforms. Even crappy Comcast figured it out. Their app syncs every time, on all my android devices. Plex can never seem to do it.
