Right, so.
Basicall my mother moved and her internet is a bit of a joke. I want to add the Sync feature to her TV, then she can click sync the day before she wants to watch any of the media.
Been poking a spare Raspberry Pi all day and got a decent android running on it now. But every version of plex I’ve tried ends up switching to AndroidTV mode without the sync option.
So my 1 questions are:
- Any way to load the mobile version of plex onto an android pi? I’ve had android 6 and 7 running on it but it’s just putting the AndroidTV varient of plex on, very annoying as it has no Sync options.
- Is it just android phones and iOS that can use sync / what would be a good device to get for her?
I’ve a ChromeOS (Asus flipbook) with chromestore app and it works as the mobile app not androidtv, but a chromebook is a bit out of the price range for this. Specially as there is a high chance of it not working that way for long.
