I am wondering if this is expected behavior, but I have a local DNS entry setup for ease of access for certain people in the house that resolves plex.network.lan to my local plex server. This only works on my LAN, as this is done within my router.
Recently, I noticed a change where my libraries now show up as "Remote” when I access them through a device via plex.network.lan, but the same libraries don’t show up as “Remote” when accessing via the server’s IP.
Its the same device, same browser, same library, its just whether I type http://plex.network.lan:32400 into the address bar vs http://server-ip:32400. This seems kind of silly, and I am just wondering if it is a bug, or if the workflow I’ve had for years just needs to change.
