This might be the wrong place but this form is hard to navigate
Starting today whenever I try and play anything on my physical computer firefox or crome web browser app plex transcoding will max out my cpu at 100%, this is only when I play something stored on one of my 2 external hard drives it doesn’t matter what it is. If I play something of my 2 external HD it’s back to the normal 3-10% cpu usage. Allso if I play something on Plex from my phone it’s back to normal. I though this might be something to do with the update as I didn’t have this problem yesterday so I rolled back to the last one and it was still effected. Any help (or telling me if this is the wrong play to post) would be greatly appreciated
edit - Also thing will random say playback error if i try and watch them on the wep app on my desktop but will play fine if its on my phone
edit 2 - also it doesn’t matter what quality i put the video at I can take it all the way down to 240p and it still hits 100 the whole time no matter what
edit 3 - I also can play any of these videos in the windows 10 plex app with around 5 cpu usage

Ram - 16 gb
Gpu - 1070
Windows 10
