Plex Tuner Service segfault with no perceivable pattern

Tuner Make/Model: Hauppauge winTV quadHD USB
Guide/Lineup name: Local Broadcast (Omaha, NE)
Using XMLTV?: no

The tuner service is failing with segfaults 2-3 times a day. I can’t see a pattern. It’s not only when there are multiple shows to record. It mostly happens after recordings are done, but it could be 1 recording or 4. I’ve seen it happen when there are no recordings. Most of the time the service restarts but I’ve still missed the recording.

Are these reports being automatically sent to Plex? Anyone looking at these? Any specific debugging?

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, kernel 5.4.0 using the Hauppauge PPA.

If I enable partial show recording, will it pick it up without much loss, say 30 seconds? The service seems to restart immediately.
