I have hdhomerunner and shield TV I can not watch TV on Plex most of the time. It trys then crashes back to watch TV menu. Maybe after 5 or sixth time it catches then ten minutes later crashes again. It works pretty good with the hdhomerunner app.

I have an Android TV box that fails at ALL to show Live TV (even though it works briefly in an earlier version) and an Apple TV that fails about 50-70% of the time in tuning to Live TV and when it does tune it crashes back to the “Now playing” menu like in your case.
Using any other app to watch Live TV as reported by everyone (Live channels, HDHome run apps, Channels App on Apple TV etc) always works reliably. The Plex implementation is EXTREMELY buggy yet they feel confident its not “beta” anymore…yeah right!
it should still been in beta. and not everyone can upgrade to 6.3 on android. all i get is the loading icon after a good 30 seconds of tuning channel.
This is a total joke. IPad fails, android fails. Wow!!! Not beta? Hahaha
