@beckfield I get the same issue in multiple browsers on multiple machines
Are you using the “https everywhere” browser extension?
If so, try disabling it.

OK. This browser extension was causing issues and actually did the opposite of what it was supposed to on another user’s computer.
Anyway, the issue is reported to the developers responsible for it.
I was able to get it through in IE because you can tell it to ignore cross scripting block that most of the browsers prevent.
