Do you guys know why the Continue Watching TV Shows Posters are the Main TV Show Poster and not the specific season? I’d like them to be the specific season. In the Recently Added In TV Shows section, sometimes it show’s it and sometimes it doesn’t. Unless a whole/multiple seasons show is added, in my opinion it should be the season poster for that show there. And obviously in the Continue Watching, always be that specific season. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
I believe it’s simply logic in their code.
Continue Watching: Display the show’s poster. No need to check more advanced logic to determine which season it is a part of, and display a different selection.
Recently Added: If a season was added (the text under the entry lists “Season X”) display poster for season. Else display show poster.
As far as I have used this program, there does not appear to be a way to force a season-poster to show up anywhere other than in the show’s season menu, or when Plex displays a “Season X” in “Recently Added”.
Personally, I’m quite surprised to see Plex support Season posters as much as they do.
Yup, that’s my conclusion too on having a setting somewhere to force the TV Show Season Posters over the main one. Wished they’d give us that option though. I think Season Posters in Continue Watching and Recently Added make more sense then the main one unless it’s a whole/multiple series/seasons listed.
