Plex unable to read music tracks id3tag properly (Identified as "Various Artists")

Hi everyone, I have been facing a huge issue since I started using PlexAMP on my phone. The tracks that I have on my server are 95% identified as various artists. Track titles and bands are not showing up properly, which makes it hard to use PlexAMP in the moment. Does anyone know how to solve this?

My files are not organized per folder with the expectation that Plex can smartly identify the tracks from the id3tag attached to each files. And to organize it per Album/Artists will be a horror since most are “loose” tracks and only organized as intended for dj mixes.

This expectation can not be fulfilled by Plex currently.

Hi OttoKerner,

Thanks for such swift response. I’ve read the link you’ve attached and I hope plex will be able to solve this soon. I can’t imagine how powerful it will be if it can identify tracks solely through ID3.
