Plex unreachable after disk full

Server Version#: 1.16.1.1291

The VM where my PMS is running ran out of disk space. I stopped the server, cleared some space (~3GB free currently) and restarted the server only to find that it is not reachable anymore.
I removed the file /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml (I created a back up first) hoping this would do a “soft-reset” and allow to go through the initial setup again.

However, when I access localhost:32400 (I’m using an SSH Tunnel for this), I get redirected back to the normal server list page, and am unable to setup the server again.
I then read that there could be an issue with duplicate server entries in the Authorized Devices list, so I removed the VM from there.

I’m still unable to reach the setup wizard, is there anything else that I should be looking into?

Maybe this one:

This worked perfectly, thank you so much!
I’m curious as to what caused the issue of not being able to claim the server, is there a post or more info regarding this?

When you nuked the prefs.xml file, it became unknown and unclaimed

Your browser could for some unknown reason not detect the PMS broadcasting as been avail for claiming => reason why I wrote the script

It is very likely that your Plex database became corrupted due to the disk full condition.
You should perform the database repair procedure as a precaution.
