Since yesterday evening, my server doesn’t appear anymore on Plex, nor my libraries.
In the Plex settings, I no longer see the dedicated settings for my server.
Strangely enough, last night there was an incident on Plex :
Can you still see your server if you open it straight from the DSM desktop/dashboard or using its local IP from within the same network/subnet (http://[Syno IP address]:32400/web)?
To answer your Q based on my situation, no I can’t. Logs just repeat this:
Starting Plex Media Server. . . (you can ignore the libusb_init error)
libc++abi: terminating with uncaught exception of type soci::soci_error: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: file is not a database for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=13107
****** PLEX MEDIA SERVER CRASHED, CRASH REPORT WRITTEN: /config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Crash Reports/1.41.8.9834-071366d65/PLEX MEDIA SERVER/d5f0e554-ca2e-4c0e-f95d1aa3-23fa5ff7.dmp
I’ve tried to grab the dmp file from the Unraid file explorer to share here but every time I try to download it, it just says ‘couldn’t download - no file’, as the file seems to constantly be created then destroyed and replaced with a different dmp file.
I’m using the Linuxserver.io container version: 1.41.8.9834-071366d65-ls269
Build-date: 2025-06-10T17:38:48+00:00
Have you tried https instead of http?
Make sure to use the actual local IP from within the same network/subnet. No hostname (local or public), or dyndns.
Thank you for your answer.
I do this whith installation ‘Install using Plex Claim Token’, now, I see my server and libraries but my server is not claimed :
I would try this - Go through the same process that you did, but after you uninstall the Plex Media Server, locate the Preferences.xml file. (I’m assuming that Synology has one. I run Ubuntu and it is located at:
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml). Rename the Preferences.xml file to Preferences.xml.backup. Continue with the re-install of Plex Media Server. It should now have a new clean Preferences.xml file. Continue to try and re-claim the server.
It would probably be best to start a new post on the forum describing your problem. Be sure to include your server version and the logs. That’s probably the best way at this point to get the attention of the plex team.
