No more Server nor librairies on my Plex Server since yesterday

Hello everyone,

Since yesterday evening, my server doesn’t appear anymore on Plex, nor my libraries.
In the Plex settings, I no longer see the dedicated settings for my server.

Strangely enough, last night there was an incident on Plex :

Uploading: Capture d’écran 2025-06-13 090515.png…

Server Version#:1.41.6.9685
Player Version#: server synology

Screenshots :

Can you still see your server if you open it straight from the DSM desktop/dashboard or using its local IP from within the same network/subnet (http://[Syno IP address]:32400/web)?

I’m having the exact same issue, on Unraid. Seems an update to the container killed it?

To answer your Q based on my situation, no I can’t. Logs just repeat this:

Starting Plex Media Server. . . (you can ignore the libusb_init error)
libc++abi: terminating with uncaught exception of type soci::soci_error: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: file is not a database for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=13107
****** PLEX MEDIA SERVER CRASHED, CRASH REPORT WRITTEN: /config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Crash Reports/1.41.8.9834-071366d65/PLEX MEDIA SERVER/d5f0e554-ca2e-4c0e-f95d1aa3-23fa5ff7.dmp

I’ve tried to grab the dmp file from the Unraid file explorer to share here but every time I try to download it, it just says ‘couldn’t download - no file’, as the file seems to constantly be created then destroyed and replaced with a different dmp file.

I’m using the Linuxserver.io container version: 1.41.8.9834-071366d65-ls269

Hi tom80H,
When I do this I have an error 400 bad request : The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port

No. Looks like you somehow roasted your database.
You could try to repair it

Have you tried https instead of http?
Make sure to use the actual local IP from within the same network/subnet. No hostname (local or public), or dyndns.

I have tried for https, it worked, my server is displayed but I have a message ‘not authorized’

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.
I do this whith installation ‘Install using Plex Claim Token’, now, I see my server and libraries but my server is not claimed :

When I click to ‘Claim it now’, I Have a message ‘Server Settings are not available’, I can not Claim my server :frowning:

I would try this - Go through the same process that you did, but after you uninstall the Plex Media Server, locate the Preferences.xml file. (I’m assuming that Synology has one. I run Ubuntu and it is located at:
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml). Rename the Preferences.xml file to Preferences.xml.backup. Continue with the re-install of Plex Media Server. It should now have a new clean Preferences.xml file. Continue to try and re-claim the server.

Before performing any reinstall,

May I please see the server logs ZIP file?

  1. FileStation
  2. Navigate - PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server
  3. Right-click LogsCompress to Logs.zip
  4. Download Logs.zip
  5. Attach/upload here.

Hi ChuckPa,

Please find attached the logs

Hi darganbright56,

I have tryed to do this but unfortunately, it’s always the same.
It’s a nightmare… :frowning:

I think that you have a DNS problem. Your DNS cannot resolve the web address:

Jun 14, 2025 09:57:49.169 [140454417144464] DEBUG - [CERT/OCSP] no URL available

I would try changing the DNS settings to Google: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Hi,

It’s better, now I see my server and library.
I click on Claim server :

I go to another page where I log on :

I am logged, but suddenly I see an error message ‘error during my open session’:

My server is not claimed…

With my browser, if I am in debug mode, I see internal error 500 :

Please find attached logs updated

Your claim token would have expired within 5 minutes of getting the token. I expect that you will have to go through the process again:

Yes, it works ! Thank you very much !

For now, I have another problem, with the codec when I play videos : ‘[Req#120d/Transcode] Error configuring transcoder: Decoder install failed: h264’

I try to rename the folder ‘Codecs-old’, restart PMS, but I have still the problem :frowning:

It is never ends..

Logs :
Plex Media Server.zip (53.4 KB)

It would probably be best to start a new post on the forum describing your problem. Be sure to include your server version and the logs. That’s probably the best way at this point to get the attention of the plex team.
