Plex user can not give access to his media to me also plexuser error 403 can't add as a friend

Had to reset password due to the current PLEX exposure. I lost access to my friends Plex media. He tries to give me access through “Manage Library Access” → Grant Library Access and if he usess deedesie (my plex name) or plex@deedesie.com he gets two errors popping up. A “error 403” and a “can’t add friend”. Any help much appreciated. thanks
