Plex version in My Cloud Home

Server Version#: My Cloud Home 7.15.1-101
Player Version#: 1.18.6.2350

Due to the old player version, I am experience performance issues and lack of functionality. It seems I cannot update the Player version in My Cloud Home and need to wait until Plex and Western Digital issue a new embedded Plex version in the software of My Cloud. Do you have an idea on when or how can I get this?

The web player that comes with the server cannot be updated outside of the server if that is what you are asking. I don’t have an ETA on when the update will be done.
