Sorry I’m new to this I have plex on my nvidia shield but I want to have it on my new wd my cloud I have enabled plex on it and uploaded some shows that will work on the Webb app but not on anything else. I’m not sure exactly what model I have it doesn’t say anywhere so I’m not sure what server I need to download and where to download it to. Can anyone please help?
IIRC the Plex Media Server version available for WD MyCloud is super dated (version 1.18.6 while the latest release is 1.24.5 or 1.24.6). Plex depends on WD to publish newer versions – from what I’ve seen they’re trying to get newer versions out but no updates / ETA at the moment.
I seem to have got it to work but now when I try and watch something all I get is error unable to play this at this time?
