Plex VPN and Panda VPN - Beware of Android applications

Good morning,

Besides the numerous emails that were sent out to legitimate Plex users, it would appear mysafevpn has taken things to another level:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Plex%20Inc.&hl=fr

Essentially there are two VPN applications on the Android PlayStore, marked respectively PlexVPN and PandaVPN, both from a company called “Plex Inc”. Not the nuance here, the official Plex applications is from “Plex, Inc.”… Just a comma added.

I believe Plex should take legal action to get these applications which use their trademark down on the Android Playstore.

Hi @VincentNguyenQuangDo, thanks for reporting this. We’ve been on to them and are looking into what can be done. Appreciate you letting the user community know to watch out for these apps!
