Plex web and smart TV app not reflecting Plex Media Server

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.32.5.7328-2632c9d3a-x86_64_DSM7

Running latest DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1 and the Plex Media Server version listed above and when I login to plex via the web or on my Hisense TV, the media (TV shows, movies, etc.) do not reflect the current library - media I’ve deleted off is still showing (though unplayable) and no new media I put on there is showing up.

Plex is correctly installed with the internal user having read/write access to the library directory, so that’s not the issue.

I followed the first steps on Plex’s site for troubleshooting (logging out of both the media server and app, then logging back into the media server and then the app) with no success. Smart TV app is set to allow insecure connections and the server only prefers them (rather than requires them). What should I try next?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking.
You’ve deleted media files from your drives and they’re still showing in Plex?
Did you trigger the Scan library files action for the library in question? If the server is configured not to automatically empty its trash… did you also trigger that manually?

This was it! Maybe that option got unticked during my upgrade from DSM 6 to DSM7, but reenabling the autoscan of my library files has refreshed everything. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best - thanks for the help.
