I have noticed in the past several days the the plex media player using firefox/chrome or edge
shows that media is being played, but when i look at who is online I see Nothing is currently being played
but i get a number next to activity for a few seconds and it goes away.. i play media locally and i see the same Nothing is currently being played
What happens when you disable the setting “Alternate Streaming Protocol for Playback”
Settings > Plex Web > Debug.
for some reason its working now
