It isn't a web player, it's just a way to display what you have in your library
Hi there!
Can't get the information:
13:22:54 Welcome to Plex Export v2.0.1
13:22:54 Task 1 of 2: Scanning Plex Media Server Library13:22:54 Gathering item information (this may take a while)13:22:55 Error: Could not connect to Plex API: http://plexserver.local:32400/
How can I provide any login information?
Thanks,
Julian
I just use the following .bat to trigger it:
php.exe X:\PlexAnime\cli.php -plex-url=http://ANIME.local:32400
where “X:\PlexAnime\cli.php” is where I put the Plex-Export-master and renamed the folder PlexAnime
and ANIME is the name of my nas but you can replace it by the IP of the machine you have your server on.
Of course wamp is started before using the bat file and the .bat itself is in the folder php5.4.3 where the php.exe file is.
So this may not answer your question but there is nothing else I do to make it work.
Thanks!
I just forgot to login at myplex first... then it worked.
Hi @all,
i couldn't find the download. from post 1.
there ist only the message
There aren’t any uploads for this repository.
can some fix this, or upload it at an other location?
thx
Well I'm not sure why the link doesn't exist anymore but here is a copy. You just need to remove the .txt extension to get the zipped archive.

It looks like something changed in Plex organization of the metadata as I'm regenerating the lists of my media right now and every time the process finds a new movie or show it says :
Error: Could not load thumbnail from .
I did a test on a windows PMS server and all the thumbnails are generated properly. On my QNAP NAS however none are generated. All bring the same error. Might be related to the new firmware (4.0.1) from the NAS...
I've been sitting on the download for this plex export for a while and finally got around to installing it.
Plex Export is fantastic! I love the look and feel, especially that it works on my wife's iPhone in a mobile friendly version!
Now I don't have to answer the question of "what's available to watch?" from my family. They each have the link and can browse the options prior to firing up one of our Roku's.
Excellent work, it runs flawlessly on my Windows Home Server 2011 box running PMS!

Working fine here

Finally got around to installing this today, very nice.
I noticed artists are not included. An ancient post in this forum showed someone using the ‘shows’ function to include Artists, which works, but it only to include Artists… no albums or tracks.
Is anyone interested in a patch that includes artists/albums/tracks?
ps. I’m also posting this because someone may have already done this and I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.
Well doing the update of my lists from windows still bring the same issue (new files do no get their thumb generated) so I decided to try to do it directly from the NAS and gosh it goes so much faster and without any errors!
I just installed the phpMyAdmin on each NAS then used the following on my usual web browser:
http://My_NAS_IP_here/Plex-Export-Master/clip.php
It was taking around 12 hours to generate my movie list before and with that it is around 10mn or less.

Doing it from an SLES/OES box, and my PMS is running on QNAP, and I also do this in less than 1 min, with a library on + 6Tb
So my guess is you might have some other problem here

You need to install cURL on the server, or more specifically the cURL PHP plugin
Any ideas on how to do this on a QNAP box? Thanks,

"since PHP 4.0.2, no extra stuff is needed but PHP and libcurl installed" from http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/php/
So you just need to install phpMyAdmin from QPKG
This works! Thank you @Dachande663!
Even without installing it on my PMS NAS it only took less than 5 minutes to create all it needed.
And instead of using Dropbox, I just made it available to my users using no-ip.com - works great!
Thx again!
I am brand new to Plex. I have a large library of movies that are currently completely unsorted.
What I am hoping to do is to end up with a file containing the name of each movie and the starring actor (or director) -- basically, the big name that is involved with each movie. I see that Plex does a very good job of sorting by actor, but is there a way (or another program) that will sort all of my movies by actor (or director) and produce a file (a .txt, pdf, or even an excel file) that will list each movie and the name of the actor.
If such a thing exists and can provide more detailed informaiton such as: Genre, Actor, Director, Rating, etc., that would also be fantastic
Thoughs?

I really like the idea of PlexExport and I have version 1 up and running. Version 2 seems so awesome though and I would like to implement it.
Has anyone done this install of phpMyAdmin in unRaid? I am a Linux newbie, but willing to give almost anything a try - but need to be careful on my unRaid box as that is my PMS box and it runs very smoothly! :)
I tried Version 2 on a different Linux (Mint 15) box and it took way too long to be practical, hence the reason to consider this phpMyAdmin install on the unRaid NAS...
Any guidance to installing phpMyAdmin on unRaid is very much appreciated!!
Thx!

I seem to be having an issue. I installed php and ran the exporter. It found all my movies and tv shows and added jpgs and data.js into the plex-data directory. As far as I can tell, all I have to do now is open the index.html. When i do this, it just stays stuck at "Loading data from Plex." Not sure what to try to troubleshoot, any help would be appreciated.
