Plex Web Home Screen - Auto Suggested movies List/section - DISABLE

On Plex Web, on the home screen beneath my “Recently Added in Movies” section that shows up, I have what appears to be an auto-generated section called “Love Is In The Air”…which is just a suggested set of “love story” movies from my library, assuming due to Valentines Day upcoming, and this section seems to change title and moves based on season/holiday…and i CANNOT GET RID OF IT.

It follows the “Recently Added in Movies” when changing library order in the left column, so its attached to the library.

Does anyone know how to turn this annoyance off?

You should be able to disable this by unchecking Seasonal Movies in the library recommendations settings:

  1. Open Settings > [Server Name] > Manage > Libraries
  2. Hover your mouse over the applicable library
  3. Click Manage Recommendations
  4. Uncheck Seasonal Movies for the home screen and/or library recommendations tab
