Homepage inserting unwanted sections such as "Love Is In The Air"

How do I stop / turn-off Plex inserting such rubbish as “Love Is In The Air” as a section on my Homepage. I don’t want anything pushed at me, this is why I spent a long time configuring the homepage in the fist place. Will Plex developers STOP messing with my configuration.

You can disable the seasonal movies when managing the recommendations for your library:

  1. go to Settings > [Server Name] > Manage > Libraries
  2. hover over the library in question and click Manage Recommendations
  3. uncheck/disable Seasonal Movies

Usually this is your pinned movie libraries.
That is unless a friend of yours who is sharing their libraries with you got over-excited and checked the Friend's Home option for that hub on one of their libraries.

Ok, so the home page is generated from ALL the options over ALL the libraries? I’ve removed the checkmark for the seasonal films and it’s still showing on the home page. There are no friends involved. Just to be clear the home page is the one with the house icon, not the landing page for movies.

Can you verify it’ll no longer show after disabling the Seasonal Movies for the Home section for all movie libraries and reloading the web page?

Well, it took about 5 unticks to get rid of it. We need an Update / Commit button for these check boxes. Can I request any further “recommendation” additions as defaulted to OFF.
