It used to be that when you viewed the current queue of music screen you could set the rating for songs (using the stars) but that looks like it was removed!? Even if you go to track details there is no longer an option to rate the track!

AFAIR you never could apply a rating on the queue view.
You can put stars on tracks in the album preplay page and in the player.
Move your mouse pointer into the indicated areas:
