Plex web player no longer displays count of unplayed podcasts

Server Version#: 1.25.6.5577
Player Version#: 4.75.0

Plex no longer displays the count of unplayed podcasts. This happens only in the web version. Tested Chrome, Brave and Firefox. Chrome works, Brave and Firefox don’t.

Also, there’s an annoying bug where the number of unplayed podcasts goes negative.

Chrome: Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)
Brave: Version 1.37.72 Chromium: 99.0.4844.45 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Firefox: Version 97.0 (64-bit)
Ubuntu: Version 21.10

Same here. Very annoying.

oddly, I went into each podcast and then backed out and the count returned.

Well that sucks. How many times will I need to repeat this?

Please forgive me for wanting to put all my media on Plex. I know there are other podcast players. Personally, I use Podcast Addict which is quite nice. But you see working from home sometimes I’d like to play a podcast on my desktop as I work. Other times I’m in the car, or perhaps on a walk, and want to listen to my podcasts too. But I want all of these, desktop, laptop, car, phone, to have the same view into the source of my podcasts such that if I listen to 30 minutes of Podcast A while on a walk, I can come to my desktop, press play for Podcast A and continue exactly from where I left off. Podcast Addict doesn’t have that capability. Nor do any of the podcast players I’ve used (BeyondPod had a solution but it only worked across cellphones and tablets IIRC). Plex has the potential to do this but Plex doesn’t seem to care about podcast players.

Oh and while going into a podcast and back to My Podcasts does cause the play counts to show correctly, a simple refresh of the page wipes them out again. :rage:
