Plex Web Player on Chrome Desktop Constantly Crashing and sound cutting off last 1% of time

My plex web player on Chrome is constantly crashing on some movies and when shows
and movies do finish the sound is constantly getting cut off some where around the 1 to 2% of the film or tv show. This is on a brand new Windows 10 pro 64 bit PC build using newest verison of Chrome. Attached is a sample DEBUG file

Just tried that with version 4.83.2 and its still crashing. I can play the source file just fine without crashing in VLC.

Define “crashing”. What does it do?

The film will stop playing and an orange circle will appear as if its lost its connection to the file and trying to restart it. The only way I have found to start the film again is to refresh the browser that however will not clear the earlier file and the dashboard will appear show two files running of the same film when its only one

Anyone else have any other ideas?

I am having the same issue. Show will stop playing and I get the orange loading circle like it’s trying to reconnect; meanwhile every other item on my internet service is fine. Then, for every single show I watch over the past several days, when it gets to about the last minute or two of the video, the sound just cuts off as if someone hit mute. The episode will keep playing and you can see that people are talking, but nothing.

I thought perhaps my files were corrupted, but when I play them directly from the file using VLC media player, I have absolutely no issues. I prefer using Plex because it keeps where I stopped, I can pick up on another device, and it’s easy to download and use subtitle files. But I have been having to play from the source file instead (which also means I can ONLY watch on my main computer).

I’m watching using the hosted web app, not the installed desktop app.
