so like the title says I can’t connect to my plex server via the web interface in certain cases. the problem started since the last (public) update. i also recently bought a plex pass, for that matter.
i can:
-connect via plex web, apps on phones, TVs, playstation 3 from WITHIN the network where the plex server is at
-connect via apps on phones, TVs, playstation 3 from OUTSIDE the network where the plex server is at
i cannot:
-connect via plex web from OUTSIDE the network
the server is listed as “fully reachable” in the options, but in the web interface it just states “server not found”. unsecure connections don’t change anything.
so far i have:
-checked and verified port forwarding
-changed and verified the public port
-reinstalled plex with the latest installer from plex.tv
-signed out and back in on the local server instance
any ideas?
