I did the same and my server is working fine too. However, I don’t see this as a solution because now our apps/servers are not up to date which may be necessary for third party plug-in, services, and/or migrations.

I didn’t find this thread until about 2 weeks in, we’re going into week 3-4. It seems the playback issue is possibly resolved, but new bugs introduced. I rolled my apps and server back to more stable releases and don’t plan to update until this is fully resolved. Personally I like to keep my server…

I have now disabled all auto-scanning again. The page refreshes way too much. The problem is there’s no downgrade path to remedy this because it’s the Plex web version hosted on Plex servers. I know about using the local plex web but that’s not really a solution.

It looks like Plex Web Version 4.126.1 which just came out, has solved this problem. It’s not mentioned in the notes but I’m no longer getting refreshes and I’ve rescanned 5 times already.
