I like the new feel. I just hate that you cannot always have the “more” always on. Also - does not even makes sense to click on another server anymore since it does not have any effect in the menu.
Clicking “more” and then the burger menu hides everything also? it’s kinda wierd.
Also - what is the point of being able to click the “libraryname / servername” in the top left content, it just - reloads?
if there wasn’t a more then my list would be terribly long…
it switches to that server when I select it.
makes it so you can select from the more menu list.
the burger menu only expands/collapses the side panel
if the panel is collapsed, you can mouse over it to temporarily expand it so you can see and/or click something
The idea of “more” is so you only have your more desired libraries listed up front than more to get to the rest. If you want to see everything all the time, you can pin all of them to the front.
Clicking on the name of the server should bring up the Home Page for that server, like it use to when you used the server drop down.
It is currently intended, but I personally agree that this is weird. This may change in the future.
It’s so you can change to any library from any page. This is the same as the old style, nothing really changed about this.
why would you click more then the burger?
still, even if you do, you can hold mouse over and it will expand.
new bug/issue:
UNO > home = no 3 dots, can’t access global library functions (scan/clean bundles/empty trash/share)
going to an individual library shows the library specific functions
going to MORE > server root > 3 dots = global library functions
I realize this presents a quandry, since the home sidebar can contain multiple different server libraries.
However, I submit that HOME > 3 dots menu should represent the default server as specified by the setup wizard that determines the default displayed libraries.
I do NOT want to have to go to MORE every time I need to do a global scan/empty trash/clean bundles action.
