Plex was working perfectly, but it stopped opening. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, then after that did not work just doing the repair…cannot get it to open.
Had same issue…pms icon was present in win 10 app bar but would disappear.
This behavior happens when WIN 10 does major enhancements…
No problem…
Go to plex tv and log in with user name/password
Go to drop down and hit download
download plex media server (ensure plex pass is on).
Save down then navigate to file and hit execute.
should give you a REPAIR or uninstall option.
hit repair
upon completion system reboot is require me.
worked for me.

Yes, I had already tried the redownload and the repair options with no luck. I tried several times. I then tried to uninstall and reinstall and still will not open. Thanks for your reply and hopefully someone will have solved this.
Now it is saying that it will not start because zlib.dll is missing???
