Plex will not recognize embedded audio language

If you changed the language tags of your files, clicking ⋮ > Analyze inside Plex (for the episode, season, show or library), this will re-load those parameters.

For most users, the auto-selection of audio/subtitle tracks based on the track’s language covers all their use cases. There’s a feature suggestion to allow manually changing the default audio/subtitle tracks for an entire show or to remember the manually set audio/subtitle tracks from the previous episode (if manually changed).

[Implemented] Control subtitles on a per-series basis

I would love for a way to change all the default subtitles in a TV series at once. In the language settings, I have it to automatically enable subtitles if foreign audio is detected, however it sometimes displays subtitles for my purely-english shows anyways. The only way I have found to turn off subtitles is by manually going into each episode, of each season, of each TV series and selecting the drop-down subtitle box to “None”. If a TV show has 90 episodes… I have to select “None” 90 individu…

Select audio and subtitle tracks based on last episode watched of a TV Show in a Library

Altough you can select a default audio and video for your whole account, would not make sense if plex would automatically select the audio and subtitle tracks based on last episode watched of a TV Show in a Library if the user have changed it from their default to a different one? Example: My default audio is English, but I prefer to watch some TV Shows from my Spanish Library in Spanish (most files are in Dual English and Spanish). Now I have to manually change the language of those TV shows …
