Plex Windows Client not transcoding AC3 Audio

Windows Plex player does not automatically decode AC3 audio to an audio format that will play on Windows. Web player detects and transcodes perfectly fine.

Is there an FAQ on how to fix this issue or a fix coming?

You need to install the ac3 codec.
