Hi.
When I try to play back videos with AC3 5.1 audio on my windows 8.1 plex client from the windows store, it fails to play and errors.
After invesigation I have noticed that all files with AC3 will not play (it works on the web browser and VLC fine).
I have swiched off Direct play and direct stream in the plex client to attempt to force it to transcode, but it direct streams the audio regardless. There appears to be no way to get PMS to transcode AC3 audio to my plex client.
Has anyone had this issue and is there any resolution?
I am running PMS on Windows Server 2012 R2 PC and the client is on a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 8.1.
Any help would be much appreciated.
