After updating to the latest Windows 11 build, Plex started crashing. I can still use the android and web client without any problems, so I guess that means it’s the client. I tried opening the logs from the application, but all I got when I clicked the “you can see the logs here” link is json with my account info. In AppData\Local\Plex\Logs I can only seem to find web player logs.
Anyone else got this? Is there a fix?
I will happily supply logs, but I would need to know where to find them
You are on the client version with the broken updater that crashes when it detects a new version. You can manually download and install over to correct this.
Ok, thanks! I was looking through logs and found it crashed on downloading some update, so I deleted the cached updates - but I didn’t have time to dig deeper until after work. I actually found a post on a broken updater, but that was an old post. It was just the timing of it working last night, and after updating windows things went wrong. So…just wanted to mention it as it might look like I didn’t check before asking
