Plex with offloading to a different server

As Plex has the transcoding functionality which requires a beefy computer but also has the capability to run on a much more lightweight server if no transcoding is needed, I was wondering if it would be possible if Plex could, if transcoding is necessary, (for optimization or otherwise) use another computer as a transcoding agent if it is available. The optimized files would be stored where both computers have access or otherwise on the master plex server.

This way I could for example use a raspberry pi to host my plex server with already optimized media so that no transcoding is required, whereas, IF it was necessary, I could turn on my much more power hungry computer to transcode, and plex would automatically use it to optimize/transcode live for media that requires it, without me, watching plex on my computer, seeing any difference (besides maybe an error that no transcoding agent is available if the computer is offline and I try to play media that requires transcoding).

I think this would be a nice addition for an otherwise already really neat product.
