So I have an unRIAD server running a plex server via docker, and a handful of clients on my local network (Apple TVs, Roku’s, etc).
None of my clients will connect locally to my PMS. They all connect remotely which is causing PMS to transcode everything which is obviously undesirable. My server & clients are within the same IP range and the same subnet mask.
I recently switched ISPs to AT&T Gigapower and was given a new router that I believe is the culprit, but I can’t figure out why. I have the TCP&UDP 32400 ports forwarded to my server. I can connect remotely without any issues. The router is a pace 5268ac if that helps.
I saw some threads about DNS rebinding, but my router doesn’t have any options for that. I also can’t change the DNS on the router, but I have changed the DNS on both the server & the clients. Even when I disable secure connections, everything still connects remotely.
Any ideas?
