Plex won't launch on Samsung freestyle

Recently my freestyle(gen 1) went in for repairs (the motherboard fried itself) and plex won’t launch now. Note that all other streaming apps work. My media server works perfectly and I can stream to my phone and other devices.

When I open plex:

  1. It says opening plex with the loading screen
  2. Black screen
  3. More black screen
  4. Once I left it on overnight, still black screen

What I’ve done:

  1. Reset the projector multiple times
  2. Updated the projector
  3. Reinstall the app
  4. Clear the projector’s cache
  5. Waited a while for the app to launch

Any advice/help is welcome.
