I’m in the process of scrubbing my media files to correct tags, etc. but Plex seems to be “stuck” and won’t allow me to delete my “old” library. Whenever I attempt to do so in settings, the library just pops right back in after a moment (screenshot attached). Also, I added a new library with just one music album in it and after adding/scanning, it’s not showing at all in Plex. Plex clearly seems to be “stuck” in some type of loop but I can’t see a way to troubleshoot/scrub the database to start fresh. Anyone able to help?
If the to-be-deleted library is large, it can take several minutes to delete it. I’d do nothing for an hour and ignore anything that’s displayed in the client for that time period.
There is also the possibility of a damaged database file. If you want to retain the other libraries (and particularly your “watched” status in general), you should check and repair it. https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/ / GitHub - ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair: Database repair utility for Plex Media Server databases

Ok… I did attempt this several times over the last 24 hours before reaching out, including ignoring for a bit as suggested. My library is about 3,000 albums, 2,500 movies so not sure if that qualifies as large or not for this issue.
I’m actually not concerned about retaining watched status as I’m fine with a complete scrub (was thinking of just deleting Plex and re-downloading after restarting iMac) but I’ll look at the info for repairing databases too.
