Have you tried restarting PMS? I would make sure you have the up-to-date public version of PMS (9.8.5) and deep scan your libraries. Also, what firmware is installed on the ATV?

im on 9.7.28 on pms and it says im on latest

i deep scanned my librairies and my aptv firmware is 5.1

OK, there is currently an issue with firmware 5.1 and Plexconnect. Baa would probably appreciate if you could set log level to high in the Plexconnect settings.cfg file, restart Plexconnect, try to play a movie and then attach the resulting Plexconnect.log file to a post in this thread. He wants to diagnose the problem. After you do that, you can upgrade to 5.3 to solve the problem, or wait until Baa sorts something out for 5.1.

I wasn't sure if upgrading to 5.3 was a good thing... for the j/b or something else I have i just installed the new plex 9.8.5

Thanks for the normal log but could you set the log level to high in settings.cfg. Restart, and try to play something. Then attach the whole Plexconnect.log file to a post here. We need more info from the full log to solve it.

here it is, but i think i have some problem with the HIGH settings, ( I've restarted everything )

High - with capital "H" and lower level "igh".

i have some issues uploading the .txt file, so i'll copy code
( should i upgrade my ATV )

Great log!

Looks like your PlexConnect is one complete mess :-D

"g_CommandCollection" errors everywhere. I find it hard to believe that this changes with iOS 5.3... But then, the update might affect http request timings.

Please do not update just yet - one workaround is to NOT use the PrePlayScreen, but directly press PLAY on the movie.

And a fix might not be far - please download PlexConnect from branch "SSL_process" and give it a try. It is not really nice coded (as in checks for every issue before running over it...) but it *should* solve the g_CommandCollection issue.

Thanks for debugging!

could you give me the link, i'm still noobish in this

It works if I push the play  button directly

here's the log when i press play

Link: https://github.com/iBaa/PlexConnect/tree/SSL_process

Direct Play - yes, thought so. "g_CommandCollection" errors messed up your file completely. Interestingly in the latest LOG there is not one of the errors...

Anyway, please do the testing with the newer branch - you don't want to miss out on the PrePlayScreen, do you?

:-)

New log with the new code

same problem
