Some UI tweaks are coming in the next update to address this issue, but ultimately the best solution is to disable overscan on the TV itself.
I just installed the Kodi Xbox One app. They handled this issue very gracefully by allowing the entire UI to be scalable. I just shrink it by 4%, and it looks great on my TV that does not have a setting to turn off over-scan (a Panasonic VIERA 720p plasma). This seems like a very elegant solution to solve this problem without sacrificing margins around the rest of the application for those who have the ability to turn over-scan off.

@Moussa, you really need to understand that that is not an option for many users, and stop throwing it out there.
I’ve seen some new versions, but this isn’t fixed. Any update in this getting fixed. Serious usability issue.
