For some reason, Plex is too wide on my Panasonic Plasma TV. This is the only app to do this. It’s slightly too tall and slightly too wide. I’m not sure how to fix this. As I said, it’s not my TV as all other Apps scan just fine and even the Roku Plex app is the proper aspect ratio. I’ve added a pic in case it helps. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
It’s a setting on your TV. My old TV did the same thing but on my new Samsung QLED the app displays fine.
It’s overscan. It’s something that’s been mentioned since this update that Moussa hasn’t even seen fit to list in the known bugs thread.
I have the same issue on xbox via a pansonic 1080P projector,
If I am viewing say ‘movies’ I cannot see the further most right title… its that far off the screen.
Plex needs to have a resizing option for their GUI so the onscreen display can be displayed in accordance with ones screen.
I have only today installed Plex as a view to moving away from Media Center (after all these years) but this is something I did not expect to see in a modern app and the lack of function to adjust for it.
This needs to be looked at asap. It makes the GUI rather useless.
